This is an ongoing project and additional work pictures will be added upon completion!

Over 50 pieces on this cabinet refinishing project. Two colors used – grey on two islands then white on cabinets, hearth and bookcases.

Because of the size we did this in two parts – bookcases and hearth along with the grey island in the first part then returned to do the main cabinets in the kitchen along with a sidebar area and several boxes in the laundry room. The final step in this home will be repainting the walls and some baseboards in a final trip.

The new product we switched to really looks amazing and truly gives these old builder grade cabinets a whole new durable and long lasting finish. No ‘paint’ here – pure polyurethane products.

This is an ongoing project that is being done in portions.

The first part was removal of wallpaper. This included a border in a back bedroom, ceiling to floor in a bathroom, ceiling to floor in a kitchen, partial walls in a bathroom and mud room, one wall and border in living room and ceiling to wall in the entryway. All paper was removed and walls which were ready to paint were sanded, sealed and prepared for painting.

As you can see a common issue arose in the removal – something was hidden underneath – a bad removal was done, some areas were badly patched and new wallpaper mounted over the top. It happens often when new paper is going back up. At this point the kitchen, small half bath and the full bathroom are not yet ready to go and are part of the final run.

The second portion was to come back and paint ceilings, wall, trim and doors in all areas that were ready to go. Ceilings painted with Promar 200 flat, walls with Duration matte in Accessible Beige.

In the third portion we will return to paint the basement, stairs and possible the last three areas.

Another wallpaper removal project. Walls were then lightly patched, sanded and resealed ready for paint. We also removed a few borders in other areas and some painted cheesecloth wallpaper in another area of the home.

Fresh drywall was installed so a full coat of PVA primer applied to all ceilings. The ceilings were then finished with Promar 200, flat, in Pure White (SW color) and the walls with Duration in matte using a custom customer picked color.

Our customer is preparing this home for the market and had already completed the patching and a ceiling repair in the master bathroom.

Ceilings were popcorn and were not painted other than the master bathroom.

Walls and baseboards painted in the kitchen, dining room, living and family rooms, hallway, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom also had wainscot so there was a coat of fresh white put on that as well.

Three bedroom doors and frames were also painted with semigloss white to match the base.

The master bath also had a coat of acrylic sealer put on the ceiling before painting and we used semigloss white on this ceiling to add to the moisture protection.

The trend in basements has been for some time to paint the ceiling rafters as it tends to hide all the distracting pipes, wires, plumbing and such helping to keep your focus on the actual room area.

That was the goal for this project then taking the walls from a very old green to a fresh white brightened up the basement area almost instantly.

Dryfall black paint used for ceilings, Duration in Pure White, Semigloss on the walls.

After just finishing up one home in Arnold we came right down the street to another whole house repaint for a home preparing to hit the market.
At this project we did walls and baseboards only. Walls were painted with Accessible Beige and the trim in Pure White both Sherwin colors. Wall paint was Promar 200 Satin and the trim Emerald.

Before and after pictures of this project completed for our Arnold area customer. Prior to our arrival they took care of the majority of the patching.
This home received a top to bottom repaint – ceilings, walls and baseboards but no doors/frames. The color was kept close to the original with the exception of two areas that had a different color. We also used flat paint as it makes it very easy for the next owner to paint with new colors and picks so it is always recommended to do a single simple color in all areas.

Colors used were Alabaster (flat) for walls and ceilings and Pure White (semigloss) for all baseboards. Both ae Sherwin colors.

As you can see the first portion of this project was the removal of wallpaper from the entire first floor main area of the home, stairwells and upper landing areas of the home.

After we completed our work a drywall company then came in to deal with all old damage, cracks, weak corner bead and skim the walls from top to bottom and repair some ceiling damage.

We have now returned to the project for the completion of the painting portion which included all ceilings and walls in the main areas of the home along with white for the windows and door trim. We also painted out the railings in the stairways and along the upper landings of the home. Later on the kitchen will be ripped and remodeled and some other areas of the home to paint in a future project run. Doors and lower windows were not painted as those will be done/replaced later.
