Second trip to this property to get home prepped for sale. In this case the real estate agent wanted a few more rooms painted a neutral color so we returned and painted the front room and dining room walls, the family room walls below the chair rail and the upper stairwell and landing ceiling. The walls are textured with a faux plaster type design.
Another unit at the Anconda condo building in the Central West End. This was a walls only repaint of two bedrooms, a bath, hall, living room and galley kitchen along with some closets. Color is Sherwin’s Repose Grey painted with Superpaint Velvet.
The prior paint jobs were done so poorly that we found many areas with paint overrun all over the woodwork and door frames so for the customers budget instead of repainting the baseboards this run we went through and re-edged the tops after the wall paint to hide much of the old color that was showing.
The customer called us after starting to take down the paper themselves and tore into the wall board pretty quick. At this point we have come in and steamed off all the paper and backing, gave the walls a nice washdown and patched the damaged spots with finish mud. We are letting this all dry over the weekend. We then did a nice sand over the entire wall and double check our patch spots to make sure they are nice and flat then seal everything. Following day two coats of paint and cleanup. We also painted a small hall wall which is not pictured.
The operators of Terex in Fenton called us up to tackle a repaint job to be done while the offices were up and operating. As is common with these type jobs some items had to be left on walls and painted around however we did manage to gain enough space to work around the desks and cabinets. We repainted the entire main office, three smaller offices and two bathrooms. I’d recommend the business but not many folks need crane services.
This was our first run of a new product that came in. The homeowner got tired of the old light wood finish of the cabinets. We came in and put a layer of bonding primer and then three coats of black speciality cabinet paint then came back after the owners remounted things and did a round of touchups. We opted for a more subdued satin finish that did a great job retaining the grain of the wood in the doors.
Repainted this small retail game shop on Telegraph back in 2014. This was another of those ‘interesting’ jobs as all the wall merchandise, TV’s and other mounted items could not be removed and the painting had to happen while the store was open. Just another day in the life of a painter! This is also an awesome independent gaming store where they know their stuff!
Quick repaint of the bathrooms for the awesome eatery Sugarfire Smoke House on Olive. We did this back in 2015 real quick over two mornings before the restaurant opened. By request no items were removed from the walls so we had to paint around everything you see there. I believe we used Behr Ultra on this job but don’t quote me on that.
Info on this project will be posted shortly
