Green Park – March 2017

This project is currently in progress. As of this posting four bedrooms (ceilings+walls+trim), two baths (walls+trim), four closets (ceilings+walls+trim) painted. Still to complete are the upper landing area on the 2nd floor then LR, Kitchen, Dining and Hall (ceilings+walls+trim), front room, half bath, laundry and pantry (walls+trim) and a 9 foot tall in wall bookcase. There is also a water damaged area between the kitchen and living room that we will be returning in a few weeks to repair and repaint. We did not do doors or trim at homeowner request.

Fenton – March 2017

Always fun to do something out of the ordinary and cabinet painting is not something we do often… but we do it. The customer had some light stained and varnished wood cabinets that they wanted black. Same color was on the fireplace and handrail going to the basement. We deglossed all the surfaces, did a light sand on flat areas, used a specialized primer to give the new paint stick power and then repainted all the cabinets in a satin black. This was done all with brush and roller but without leaving any streaks or brush marks thanks to the paint which flattens out nicely. All the original wood grain remains visible and the hard enamel finish will protect the surfaces for some time to come.

Pershing (CWE) – March 2017

This is a repaint of two condos in the Central West End in the Anconda Condos on Pershing. All walls and closets were repainted, several flat doors received a fresh coat of paint and some ceilings. We also took care of some drywall repairs and patching for the property owners and will be returning soon for some other units and common areas. These are all after photos. Please remember that some areas in these photos are not painted as the kitchen cabinets are still to be ripped out, some flooring replaced and their general contractor is taking care of some other repairs in areas.

Oakville – February 2017

Before and after pictures from this Oakville property we completed. Customer had removed the wallpaper themselves and underneath we found pretty significant damage to the plaster throughout the main floor of the house. There were two large chunks of plaster gone, several large cracks across the ceilings and endless smaller cracks in most of the rooms except the kitchen. We reloaded the holes, skimmed the walls out, redid the corners and caulked all the woodwork and repaired the window returns. It was all then sanded top to bottom and sealed with a brand new no stink water based sealer. We then did a coat of color then went back and rechecked all the walls and found some more hairline cracks…repaired, covered and 2nd coated all ceilings and walls. All ceilings except kitchen were also sand textured over the existing texture to hide all the repairs. Here is the end result.

Colors used: 6134 Netsuke (darker color) and 6143 Muslin both of which are stock Sherwin colors.
