Rock Hill – Octob

Rafter blackout before drywall goes up. Used Sherwin’s Pro Industrial dryfall to minimize mess even though the floor were due to be covered later.
Not often we do one of these but this was a paper removal only job. While it was a bit of a problematic paper to remove due to the thin front layer using one of those ‘old school tricks’ got the steamer doing it’s job and for most part the paper removed fairly clean with only minimal scarring mostly near the bottoms due to a thin application of sealer. Yes.. if you want to handle the rest of the work we can come in and just remove the paper!
Home needed prep for sale and had heavy smoker damage. Using some specially chosen paint and colors we successfully hid the stained colors and returned the home to it’s original cream color that was common when these coved ceiling homes were built. This only required two coats of paint and we stayed with a standard flat to make it easy for the next owner to choose their own colors and repaint. There is a kitchen, bath and paneled back room we are returning to paint in a separate trip. We also removed wallpaper in the bathroom which will be included in the second set pictures.
Another lobby job for the condo association. This time we tackled two at the same time so we could complete the building in one trip. 8 more to go with two on the calendar. These are done the same as the others – another contractor is removing the paper and doing some repairs. We then come in and finish those repairs, apply a new sealer coat and then two coats of paint.
After a week away we returned to this Chesterfield property after removing the wallpaper the week before and allowing time for the floors to be done. This is the wallpaper removal part
For the second part we patched some holes in the walls and cleaned up all the old bracket and mounting holes, sanded down the wallpaper room’s walls and resealed those then painted the ceiling, walls, baseboards and crown in the dining room foyer and family room.
A return to Blu Spaces a high rise apartment/condo building to paint another smaller studio for the owner. These are rental units and comprise of a large main room, kitchen, a large walk in closet and oddly enough a bathroom inside the closet. We repainted the trim, ceilings and walls.
